Acupuncture may help increase IVF success rates by up to 65%

Recently a patient sent me this study from today’s British Medical Journal. Acupuncturists love to open the dai mai (die my) and chong mai (chong my) meridians before an IVF procedure to help the meridians better receive the implantation. Much like cleaning and removing debris from a river before putting a sailboat into it to float gently down the stream. After the procedure, we like to ‘lock in the energy’ with various useful points. And of course, being relaxed and at ease is so important for pregnancy and we can surely help with that, too. Check out the article in The Guardian about the study. http://www.theguardian.com/society/2008/feb/08/health.healthandwellbeing
